I love your use of colors and design. There is some great symbolism with the pointed shoe, flowers, and armor?. The fashion is great and the pose gives way to the feeling she is about to make some sort of defensive move.
That is really neat!I've been so focused on traditional media I have yet to see that technique. I took some animation classes in college but obviously technology has improved tremendously since then. Thanks for sharing that!I loved seeing where you got the inspiration and can see you did some considerable research in setting up the piece. It also reminds me that it is worthwhile to take the time to put the extra little touches on a piece.
So how did you hear about the 3D zbrush? I downloaded the 30 trial to see if I like it. I think it would be a great tool for me as currently I use clay to put together a preliminary design for a potential client. This potentially could give a more complete design and allow me to play with some variations before starting a stone sculpture. So far it looks like it still uses traditional techniques in digital form...such as the armitures. How long did it take you to figure out the features?
Thanks. I am working with both right now. Mostly just figuring out the tools. There are so many shortcuts and pieces to take in. Made some interesting designs so far but looking to have a better mastery soon. There are some great tutorials from artist on this site too.
